Čubrilović: The protection of human rights and freedoms as the basis of constitutional, legal and political system of the Republic of Srpska

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović said, on the occasion of 10 December- the International Day of Human Rights, that the Parliament of the Republic of Srpska is in complete function of protection of human rights and freedoms, in accordance with the highest international standards, conventions and the Declaration of United Nations on human rights.

He said that the protection of human rights and freedoms is in the basis of constitutional, legal and political system of the the Republic of Srpska which is completely dedicated to implementation of human rights and freedoms of every man and citizen of the Republic of Srpska.

“As modern and democratic society, established on the principles of the rule of rights and equalities of all citizens in front of the law, we have to be dedicated to realization of human rights and freedoms, first of all of the most sensitive categories and minorities, unemployed, children and youth” said Čubrilović.

President Čubrilović also highlighted that The National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska as the highest legislative institution, protects civil, political, economic, social and cultural freedoms and rights of a human-from the right to life and freedom to the right to dignity, privacy and social security of all citizens of the Republic of Srpska.
