Ambassador Ivantsov conveyed the invitation to the President of the National Assembly to visit the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, today, in his cabinet, talked with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, H. E. Petr Ivantsov on the current political situation and the improvement of mutual cooperation.

Ambassador Ivantsov conveyed the invitation of the President of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Ms. Valentina Matvijenko, to the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Nedeljko Čubrilović, to visit the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the coming period with the aim of strengthening the established good relations and improving inter-parliamentary cooperation.

President Čubrilović thanked for the invitation to visit the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and expressed the belief that the return visit would contribute to better cooperation and strengthening friendly relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Srpska, especially in the fields of culture, science and education.

Speaking about the situation in the joint bodies of BiH authorities, President Čubrilović said that it is necessary to establish the Council of Ministers in BiH as soon as possible in line with the results of last year's elections, since any further prolongation has no valid justification and represents a gross negation of the democratic will of citizens.

President Čubrilović and Ambassador Ivantsov noted that very good inter-regional cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and the Russian regions was established, especially emphasizing the successful cooperation with governorate of St. Petersburg.
