The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, extended his congratulations on the occasion of the school Slava—Saint Sava—to all pupils, students, educators, and employees in the field of education in the Republic of Srpska, stating that Svetosavlje (the path of St. Sava) is the foundation of the faith, spirituality, and enlightenment of the Serbian people.
"On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and in my own name, I congratulate you on the school Slava, celebrated in honor of the first Serbian archbishop, enlightener, and the founder of literacy, education, and statehood. By celebrating Saint Sava, we promote and preserve the highest spiritual values, Serbian culture, and language as the pillars of the identity of the Serbian people," Stevandić stated.
The Speaker of the National Assembly wished all students and educators that Savindan brings them happiness, health, and success, and that they remain on the path of Svetosavlje, truth, and knowledge, nurturing the rich tradition left to us as a legacy by Saint Sava.
"Young people are the greatest wealth of the Republic of Srpska, and investing in their knowledge and education is the guarantee of our prosperity and progress. Once again, I extend my most heartfelt congratulations on your school Patron Saint, Happy Savindan!" Stevandić noted in his message.
