President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Nedeljko Cubrilovic, stated that regarding the Commemoration Day of the holocaust-genocide NDH in a concentration camp Jasenovac and its biggest execution site Donja Gradina, we have a moral and civilization obligation to commemorate innocent victims of the criminal system in concentration camps, in order for this terrific crime to never happens to anyone.

“The system of concentration camps Jasenovac and its biggest execution site Donja Gradina represents one of the most monstrous execution sites of Serbian, Jews and Roman people in WWII. It was a system of death. Innocent people were killed, as well as old, women and children. They were killed only because they were Serbs, Jews, and Roma. Crimes were documented and the criminal activities of NDH were proved scientifically,“ stressed President Cubrilovic.

Regarding the commemoration of 77 years of the breakout of the last group of prisoners in the concentration camp Jasenovac, he stressed that all European people should clearly condemn this crime and commemorate victims among who there were many children.

Cubrilovic stressed that the Serbian people made a great sacrifice during the fight against racism and fascism, because it has always been libertarian.

‘It is a tragedy that even today many people try to revitalize this awful crime which is very dangerous and immoral. Denial of Serbian victims in NDH camps of death represents an inhuman and anti-civilization political and public activity that deserves every condemnation,” stated Cubrilovic.

President Cubrilovic highlighted that the memory of the victims of Jasenovac must be kept institutionally, scientifically, and politically, and the truth on Serbian sufferings for the freedom and a life worthy of a man.

“Jasenovac and Donja Gradina as well as many other Serbian execution sites are numerous historical wounds of the Serbian people. Through truth and justice, we fight for peace and freedom which has been bloodily paid for, and we should never forget this, said Cubrilovic.
