President Čubrilović Congratulates Students, Teachers and All Employees of Educational Institutions in Srpska a school's Patron Saint St. Sava

The President of the National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović congratulated students, teachers and all employees of educational institutions in the Republic of Srpska on the school's Patron Saint St. Sava, which is commemorated in honor of the first Serbian archbishop, enlightener and founder of education and literacy.

“Especially solemn and important is this Savindan, because the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian people in this and last year mark the great jubilee - 800 years of the autocephaly of the Serbian Orthodox Church, celebrated by Saint Sava and thus determined the destiny of our people. By nurturing the memory of the first Serbian archbishop and enlightener, we continue the enlightenment path, preserving for future generations the spiritual pillars of our national identity, ”said Čubrilović.

He added that it is a great responsibility for all of us to continue the path of holy worship and, while preserving the foundations of our own identity, to build modern and education as the strongest guarantee of our survival in the future.

“Only educated nations can find their place in the modern world, as even the first Serbian enlightener Saint Sava taught us eight centuries ago. That is why it is our obligation to continue in this way aware that education is the basic pillar of development and progress of the whole society. Wishing us all to achieve the best results together, I heartily congratulate all students and teachers on their school Patron Saint, St. Sava, “said President Čubrilović in his congratulations.
