President Čubrilović congratulates Valentina Matviyenko on her re-election as President of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

The President of the National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović, on behalf of the National Assembly and on his own, congratulated Valentina Matviyenko on her re-election as President of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, wishing to continue successfully performing high-level state duties, in the interests of the Russian people and the state of the Russian Federation.

"We express our special gratitude for the attention you have shown to the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska during your visit to Banja Luka, as well as for your expressed understanding of the Republic of Srpska and its position within Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement. We are convinced that we will continue the successfully established cooperation and further strengthen the friendly relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Srpska, and that we will continue the good historical and brotherly relations of the Russian and Serbian people," said President Čubrilović in his congratulations.
