President of the Committee on European Integrations and International Cooperation Igor Crnadak met with the Ambassador of Romania to BiH Anton Păcurețu

President of the Committee on European Integrations and International Cooperation Igor Crnadak met today in the assembly premises with the Ambassador of Romania to BiH Anton Păcurețu.

On this occasion, Crnadak met the Ambassador with the dialogue and the activities of the Committee on European Integrations and Regional Cooperation in the current convocation, in relation to the activities of the Committee in previous convocations, especially in the sense of the cooperation of the Committee with non-governmental organizations on the promotion of the sector of European integrations and strengthening of civil society.

Crnadak gave special attention to the harmonization of the Republic of Srpska legislation with EU acquis, explaining the role of the Committee on European Integrations and Regional Cooperation during that process.

At the meeting, the interlocutors expressed a mutual hope, that the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina would make more intensive efforts in the process of European integration of the country, which would result in gaining the official status of the country candidate for EU membership.
