President Stevandić attended the central marking of the manifestation “One Nation, One Assembly - Serbia and Srpska"

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, attended today's central marking of the event "One Nation, one Assembly- Serbia and Srpska" at The Republic Square in Belgrade.

The central marking was attended by the presidents of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik and Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, the presidents of the parliaments of Serbia and Montenegro Ana Brnabić and Andrija Mandić, the presidents of the governments of the Srpska and Serbia Miloš Vučević and Radovan Višković, the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije with the archbishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, representatives of Serbs from the region and numerous citizens who want to demonstrate the unity of the Serbian people with this event.

The event began with the anthem of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.

There were 48 cultural and artistic on Republic Square. Between 900 and 1,000 folklorists are expected from the Republic оf Srpska. 19 KUDs from 15 local communities arrived.

In his address, President Dodik said that today is important for generations to come because by adopting the Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights of the Serbian People, the Serbian people overcome obstacles in the fight for their identity. He said that Serbs are a unique nation, wherever they live.

President Vučić pointed out that an agreement was reached today on Serbian unity, which will not last a day, two or three months, but forever, and that no one can destroy Serbian unity and take steps backward.
