President Stevandic attended the 15th Donor Evening "With Love to Brave Hearts"
The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandic, attended the 15th Donor Evening "With Love to Brave Hearts" in Banja Luka tonight, which is being held under the sponsorship of the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and at the initiative of the Alliance for Rare Diseases of Srpska, the theme of this year's humanitarian action is the introduction of screening for spinal muscular atrophy for new-borns.
The Donor Evening was attended, among others, by the Serbian member and Chairperson of the BiH Presidency`, Zeljka Cvijanovic, Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic, the wife of the President of Serbia, Tamara Vucic, and ministers in the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
On this occasion, Stevandic said that the Donor's Evening "With Love to Brave Hearts" traditionally brings together people for whom goodness is what defines them.
"And they all motivate other people to do good and in that way, good wins," Stevandic, who is attending this donor's evening in Banja Luka, told reporters.
The humanitarian number 1411 was called 85,626 times.
The first donor's evening was held in 2010. Since then, much has been done for the youngest residents of Srpska who need help.
Thanks to the campaign funds, a Parents' House was built, a Mother-and-Child Center was opened, a Human Milk Bank was established, and a Solidarity Fund for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Diseases, Conditions, and Injuries of Children Abroad was founded.
