President Stevandic donated New Year's packages to children being treated at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska
The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandic, today gave New Year's packages to children who are being treated at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska.
Stevandic said that the tradition of giving packets to sick children has been going on for several years.
"The National Assembly traditionally donates presents to children who are undergoing treatment. We wish them to recover as soon as possible and that they return to their families. We hope that the tradition will continue even when we are not on these duties and that the cooperation between the National Assembly and the Clinical Center will continue," said the Speaker of the Parliament to journalists.
General director of the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Vlado Djajic thanked Stevandic for cheering up the youngest patients with presents.
We see joy and smiles on their faces and we thank Stevandic for that," said Djajic.
The head of the Clinic for Children's Diseases, Dr Vladimir Mirosljevic expressed gratitude to Stevandic and Djajic.
