President Stevandic at the election of electors for the election of delegates in the Republic of Srpska Council of People

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandic, addressed today the representatives of the Croats, the Bosniaks, and the others from the units of local government in the Republic of Srpska and MPs in the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska where, in separate procedures, electors are being chosen for the election of delegates for clubs of Croats, Bosniaks and others in the Council of People of the Republic of Srpska.

The President of the National Assembly expressed satisfaction with the fact that the beginning of this procedure went in a democratic atmosphere and correctness. “I am glad that we can see that the National Assembly once again shows its expedition and readiness for finishing procedures like this one, and in a few days, delegates will be elected for the BiH House of Peoples, and first of all we will have a new government,” said President Stevandic.

He stressed, at the very beginning of the election of the electors for the election of the delegates in the Council of People of the Republic of Srpska, that it is very important for this procedure to run in a good and democratic atmosphere.

“With this, we send a message that we are the most stable and the most organized but also the most peaceful part of BiH”, said the President.

“When it is about the lists for the House of People of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, President Stevandic stated that these have been sent to the BiH Central Election Commission.

“I think that there should not be disputes concerning these lists and that tomorrow we should have certified lists” said Stevandic.
