President Stevandic hosted the students of the Faculty of Political Studies and the Faculty of Economics of the University in Banja Luka

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandic, hosted today, in the assembly premises the students of the Faculty of Political Studies and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka, where he said that the door of the parliament is always open for students and their ideas.

During his address to the students, in the Plenary Hall, President Stevandic stressed that it is great pleasure and honor for him to host the students who are the future of the Republic of Srpska.

“I am convinced that the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and students can together contribute to citizens staying in the Republic of Srpska, and for better understanding and conception of the economic and national politics”, said Stevandic to the students who have visited the National Assembly b the context of the program “Days of open doors”.

The President of the National Assembly stressed that young, highly educated experts can contribute to the further development of the Republic of Srpska.

Stevandic talked to the students about the aspiration of the Serbian people for freedom, through history, the formation of the Republic of Srpska, its constitutional position, and the role and the work of the National Assembly as the highest legislative institution of the Republic of Srpska.

“The Republic of Srpska is the great victory of the Serbian people. We must work all together on the preservation, stability, and prosperity of the Republic f Srpska, and because of this it is very important to have a strong educational system and for young people to stay in the Republic of Srpska” highlighted Stevandic.

The President of the Students’ organization of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Bozana Tintor, expects that the knowledge they have acquired during their education would be used in practice in the institutions of the Republic of Srpska, and the cooperation with the National Assembly would be continued and more intense.

“We are happy to have a new cooperation between the Parliament of the Republic of Srpska and the Faculty of Political Sciences”, said Tintor to the reporters.

The vice president of the Students’ Parliament Andrej Sevo, considers that the parliament, as the highest legislative body, is the most important institution for the economy of the Republic of Srpska.

“Documents like the Budget, Revised Budget, the laws and the fiscal politics, are enacted in the National Assembly. This visit is very important for us because we had the chance to be introduced with the work of the highest legislative institution. We are thankful to the President of the National Assembly for the great welcome addressing and the dialogue with the students”, said Sevo to the press.
