President Stevandic met with the President of the Provincial government and the President of the AP Vojvodina Assembly Balint Juhas
The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandic, met today in Novi Sad, in separate meetings, with the President of the Provincial Government Maja Gojkovic and the President of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina Balint Juhas on improving cooperation through the realisation of mutual infrastructural projects, as well as projects in the areas of economy, culture, and education.
President Stevandic expressed his satisfaction with the progress of cooperation with the Provincial Government and the institutions of Vojvodina, stressing that in the past period, relations between the Republic of Srpska and the Provincial Government have significantly improved, which contributes to the strengthening of regional cooperation.
“In our future, cooperation is key to ensuring stability and development, and it must be additionally strengthened through joint projects," said Stevandic.
He said that he will continue to work on deepening institutional ties, with a focus on joint projects that will contribute to the development and prosperity of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.
The meetings discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation through various initiatives, including the participation of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina at the Tourism Fair in Banja Luka at the end of February, and the visit of President Juhas to the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.
The President of the National Assembly will visit the "Homeland Fair - Homeland through Economy, Tourism and Culture", today in Novi Sad.
It is also planned for President Stevandic to participate in the fair panel "The need for the formation of a set of harmonized legal solutions and incentive measures with the aim of increasing the birth rate and demographic growth and the establishment of the ``Children were Born to Us'' Fund for the formation and implementation of pro-natal measures".
The fair is organized by the Fund for Refugees and Displaced Persons and cooperation with Serbs in the region.
Stevandic's visit to the "Homeland Fair" is also planned for tomorrow.
