President Stevandic talked with the Ambassador of Hungary about the continuation of the bilateral cooperation

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandic talked today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to BiH H.E. Krisztián Pósa and informed the Ambassador on the actual political and economic issues in the Republic of Srpska as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President Stevandic pointed out the positive influence of the Hungarian policy and common economic cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and Hungary in the field of energetics which represents a dominant regional and global question.

President Stevandic used this opportunity to welcome the continuation of cooperation in the fields of education, noting the fact that students from all three cycles of high education can get scholarships in all faculties in Hungary.

Both interlocutors agreed that the cooperation between Hungary and the Republic of Srpska should be continued through the implementation of actual projects, and that there is a need for defining new ways of common cooperation which would be of mutual interest.

President Stevandic thanked Hungry for the direct help for the farmers of the Republic of Srpska which came through the Programme of Support of the Government of Hungary.
