President Stevandic talked with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation
The President of the National Assembly Dr Nenad Stevandic talked today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH H.E. Igor Kalbuhov about political and economic issues in the Republic of Srpska and Russian Federation.
President Stevandic informed Kalabuhov about the results of the visit to Russia where the talks were about the realisation of the project “Technopark Sankt Peterburg-Banja Luka”, for which the authorities of the Republic of Srpska already allocated the land for the construction.
President Stevandic and Ambassador Igor Kalabuhov agreed that the realisation of the project technopark opens the possibility of additional cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and the Russian Federation, which would lead to additional connections between people and sharing of ideas.
President Stevandic said that projects like this represent the foundation for a better future and that young people will stay in their country and contribute to its development.
At the meeting, it was stated that the political priority is the preservation of peace and stability respecting the Dayton Agreement, and that the constitutional position of the Republic of Srpska must be respected.
