President Stevandic talked with the President of the Legislative Assembly of St Petersburg Alexander Bielski

The Delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska headed by President Nenad Stevandic, talked in St Petersburg with the President of the Legislative Assembly of St Petersburg Alexander Bielski on the questions of the further development of bilateral relationships between the Legislative Assembly and the National Assembly, in the framework of the protocol signed in Banja Luka. The meeting was also attended by the chairman of the Committee on Finance and Budget and the chairman of the Standing Committee on Urbanism, Land, and Property Matters Valeri Garnets.

The need for further strengthening of interparliamentary relationships via regular exchange of information and holding mutual cultural and sports events. It was emphasized at the meeting that the Republic of Srpska is one of the priority partnership regions of St Petersburg, so relating to this there is a clear need for development of the tourism cooperation.  

Besides this, the meeting was about perspectives of mutual activities in the sphere of economy, and especially on the realization of the project “Technopark ST Petersburg-Banja Luka”.

President Stevandic said that in the framework of the realization of this project, the authorities have already allocated land for the construction of a common scientific and practical center.
