SCHEDULE FOR THE PUBLIC DISCUSSIONS ON THE DRAFT CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA

The public discussion on the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Srpska will be held according to the following schedule:

EAST SARAJEVO – Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11 a.m.;

TREBINJE - Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11 a.m.;

PRIJEDOR - Thursday, April 3, 2025, at noon;

GRADISKA – Friday, April 4, 2025, at noon.

Public discussions will be held in the area of ​​the city assembly.

Prof. Dr. Vitomir Popovic, President of the Working Group that will assist the Committee for Constitutional Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska in preparing and drafting the new Constitution of the Republic of Srpska, will coordinate public discussions.

The National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, at its 20th Special Session, held on March 13, 2025, passed the Decision on the adoption of the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Srpska. With the conclusion of the National Assembly, which was adopted at the same session, the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Srpska is put on public debate, which will be conducted within 30 days.

The Committee for Constitutional Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska is responsible for organizing and conducting the public debate. After the public debate, the Committee determines the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Srpska and submits it to the National Assembly.
