Stevandic and Orlic sign the Memorandum on Establishing the Parliamentary Forum Republic of Srpska- Republic of Serbia

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of -Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandic and the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic will sign tomorrow in Belgrade the Memorandum on establishing the Parliamentary Forum the Republic of Serbia -the Republic of Srpska.

The meeting of the two presidents is planned for 12. p.m. in the House of the National Assembly, 13 Nikola Pasic Square, Hall 1. After the meeting, a press conference will be organized as well as the signing of the Memorandum on establishing the Parliamentary Forum Republic of Serbia-Republic of Srpska.

Stevandic and Orlic have agreed on the formation of the Parliamentary Forum at the end of August in Banja Luka, saying it will be signed in September in Belgrade.

At the meeting of the Collegium of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, on September 12, the information about signing this Memorandum has been accepted.

Stevandic informed the members of the Collegium that the parliamentary Forum should have sittings twice a year and that its decisions should be verified by the two Assemblies.

“The decisions brought at the Forum will be passed to the two Assemblies and I consider this as great progress in applying the Agreement on Special and Parallel Relations and bringing closer the work of the two Parliaments”, said President Stevandic.
