The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandic, said that the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina implies the territorial integrity of the Republic of Srpska, and that the territorial integrity of BiH implies the territorial integrity of Srpska. Therefore, everyone who speaks about the constitutional order of BiH has to expect that Srpska will protect its constitutional order.

Stevandic stressed that Srpska has the right to protect its constitutional order, although BiH is not part of the Alliance.

So “everyone who speaks about the constitutional order of BiH has to expect that Srpska will protect its constitutional order by its mechanisms and that it will be able to prescribe a penalty for those who do not respect it. Everyone who mentions BiH without entities, everyone who offends, disputes or asserts that Srpska has to be abolished will be faced with a judicial resolution much more serious than what the Prosecutor's Office of BiH is trying to do to us", said Stevandic, reacting to the statement of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that NATO fully supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH and that the Dayton Peace Agreement is the cornerstone of peace in this country and must be respected, and that it is up to the political leaders of BiH to take responsibility.

Stevandic noted that this way Srpska will remain a democratic society and protect its constitutional order because the Constitution of Srpska is harmonized with the Constitution of BiH, and according to its constitution it must defend its territory, institutions and laws.

"Ultimately, the time is upon us when Srpska will prove that it respects what is done from the other inter-entity line, but that it cannot allow someone to attack its constitutional order, its institutions and the people who perform functions in those institutions." "Today, everyone had the opportunity to testify that Serbia is a democratic society and that there are no warmongering elements like in Sarajevo," said Stevandic.
