President Stevandic attended the opening of the First International Economy Fair “Banja Luka Expo 2024”

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, attended today in Banja Luka the opening of the First International Business Fair "Banjaluka Expo 2024", which gathered around 300 exhibitors from the region and the world.

The opening of the Fair was also attended by the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, who is the sponsor of this event, the Prime Minister of Srpska Radovan Višković, the Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović and other ministers in the Government of  Srpska, and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac, the mayor of Banja Luka Draško Stanivuković as well as the Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade of Serbia Tomislav Momirović.

President Stevandić said that in the Republic of Srpska, there are human and all other potentials to produce positive economic results, which shows that Srpska is creatively strong and capable of developing in every aspect.

"Even though Srpska was created under impossible conditions of pressure, we lead a peacetime policy, open projects, and develop all economic and other links to develop in every respect," said Stevandić.

He added that the Republic of Srpska is defending itself today with its development as well as, with great, creative people, and ideas.

"Today, we are not talking about any of our vanities here, but we are standing together on the same side of the Republic of Srpska, which shows that it is creative, strong, and capable, that it can unite the academic and political public," said Stevandić.

Serbia is a partner country of the Fair, which is attended by representatives of ten European Union countries, as well as a business delegation from China.

Exhibitors from various fields, the wood and metal industry, electrical and IT sector, design, and finance will present themselves at the Fair.
