Nedeljko Čubrilović, Bachelor with Honours in Mechanical Engineering, born in 1953 in Krupa na Vrbasu.

He has held several important professional, social and state functions. He worked in the economy sector: from the constructor to the director position and he gave his contribution to the development of sport and culture of both the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In 1996 he was elected as a Chairman of the Executive Board of the City of Banja Luka.


He was appointed as a General Director of the Roads Directorate of the Republic of Srpska and he led the private enterprise.

He was a member of the Board of the Handball Club "Borac" from Banja Luka as well as a member of the Chess Federation of the Republic of Srpska and a member of the Presidency of the Handball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He was a president of the Homeland Association "Zmijanje”.

Mr. Čubrilović was the president of the City Board of DNS Banja Luka and vice-president and deputy president of DNS.

He was twice elected as a counselor in the City of Banja Luka and four times as MP in the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.

In several mandates he held the function as Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Srpska.

He is the president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, since 2014.

In 2018 he was elected as a first president of Political party Democratic alliance (DEMOS).

He received the Order of St. Sava, a decoration, established to recognize spiritual persons and civilians for meritorious achievements to the Serbian Orthodox Church.

He is married and he has two children and three grandchildren.;
