At the First Constitutional Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, the 11th convocation, Nenad Stevandic was elected as the President of the National Assembly, and the solemn oaths were taken by MPs, the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Zeljka Cvijanovic and the vice presidents of the Republic of Srpska Davor Pranjic and Camil Durakovic.
MPs have decided that National Assembly should have four vice presidents.
Boran Bosancic has been elected as the Secretary-General and Nebojsa Zgonjanin as the vice Secretary General.
National Assembly took the initiative for the election of delegates of the Republic of Srpska in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and the election of delegates in the Council of Peoples of the Republic of Srpska.
The First Session of the 11th convocation was convened by the oldest MP Natasa Radulovic, assisted by Secretary General Nebojsa Zgonjanin, and the youngest MPs Aleksandar Trninic and Mladen Ilic.
First Session was attended by the President of the Assembly of Serbia Vladimir Orlic, former presidents of the National Assembly Nedeljko Cubrilovic and Dragan Kalinic, the president of the Government of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Viskovic. Ministers, chairman of BiH Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija, chairman of the Council of Peoples of RS Nada Tesanovic, the President of the Constitutional court of the Republic of Srpska Dzerard Selman, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to BiH H.E. Aleksandar Djordjevic, the general consul of the Republic of Serbia Milos Vujic the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Igor Kalabuhov, consul general of the Republic of Croatia in Banja Luka Zoran Pilicic, Secretary General of the Assembly of AP Vojvodina Nikola Banjac, Head of the OSCE's Field Office in Banja Luka Simone Gverini, leaders of the parliamentary parties from the Republic of Srpska, MPs from the Republic of Srpska in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, representatives of the religious communities and others.
At the end of the First Session, the president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nenad Stevandic and the MPs of the orthodox religion took religious oaths in the Church Of the Christ the Savour in Banja Luka.
