A workshop on the theme “Strengthening managing abilities” was held for the chiefs of the National Assembly Service

The workshop on the theme “Strengthening managing abilities”, for the chiefs of the National Assembly Service, has been organized by the Mission for European Security and Cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 11 and 12 April 2024, in Teslić, with the aim of work improvement and increasing efficiency of the Assembly Service.

On the first day of the workshop, which had been attended by the Secretary General of the National Assembly Boran Bosančić, and the Deputy Secretary General Darko Milaković. The lecturer Aida Dolic talked about recognizing and improving the potential of the team, analyzing the team's potential, and encouraging cooperation, highlighting the importance of identifying the key competencies and abilities of the team.  

On the second day of the workshop, the themes were planning, managing, and successfully realizing business assignments. The importance of setting clear goals and expectations, and efficient communication in team leading.

Bosančić highlighted that the main aims of the training are further development of the Service work, by adopting new work methods and implementing modern strategies, and encouraging efficiency, responsibility, and professionalism.

“The service of the National Assembly is functional, well organized, and professional, and with these trainings, we try to improve its teamwork and professionality, indispensable for improving the work of the parliament”, said Bosančić.

The workshop has been organized by the Department for democratic managing of the OSCE Mission to BiH.
