New Years and Christmas reception for media representatives

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović organized a New Year and Christmas reception for representatives of the media, editors and journalists to whom he wished a happy and successful 2017.

Čubrilović expressed his gratefulness to the media on fair and good cooperation when it comes to reporting from the sessions of the National Assembly in 2016, and monitoring the work of the highest legislative authority in Srpska.

I expect that we will achieve a better cooperation and raise it to a higher level this year," said Čubrilović while addressing the media.

Summing up the results of the parliament's work during last year, he said that he held seven regular and five special sessions, and that the National Assembly had 53 working days, when it comes to the sessions.

President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska stressed that all legislative proposals, which last year came to the Parliament, passed the legislative procedure.

"We will continue with the work in the first decade of February. Parliamentary collegium should be sitting at the end of the month when it will be scheduled the next session of the National Assembly of RS. We expect very soon a meeting with leaders of the Government of the Republic of Srpska when we will determine the work plan for this year, "said President Čubrilović.
