President Čurilović received the delegation of the first Children's Embassy in the world “Međaši”

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čurilović received today in his office, the delegation of the first Children's Embassy in the world, “Međaši”, headed by the youngest ambassador, eleven years old Mišel Mišković and her colleague, representative of the embassy in Banja Luka, Gabrijel Lađarević.

On this occasion the youngest ambassador of “Međaši” gave to president Čubrilović and to the National Assembly children's chair with the symbolic meaning of warning for the grown up people and the authorities to think on children all the time while making decisions.

Within the project “Humanization of the grown up people via children's world”, the first children's chair was set up in the Municipality of Bijeljina, the second one is from now on in the cabinet of the president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and the third one goes to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the forth one to the Council of Europe and the fifth one goes in April, 2019, to New York city, in the UN General Assembly.

President Čubrilović expressed his gratitude to young ambassadors for participating in this human project promoting children's rights and helping the youngest population as the future carriers of the future of the country and the biggest potential of the Republic of Srpska.

The young ambassador thanked the Presidnt for the reception and his support for the projects which protect and promote children's rights. She also invited the President to visit the Children's Embassy near Bjeljina.

President Čubrilović along with the adequate gift, the traditional embroidery, gave his promise that the National Assembly will always give its complete support to their work.

Children's Embassy was established in 1990 and the first children's ambassador was famous violinist Stefan Milenković.
