President Stevandić attended the commemoration of the anniversary of the Association of Distrophists

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, attended today in Banja Luka to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Association of Dystrophists of the Banjaluka Region. On that occasion, he received a Charter from the Association for special contribution and support in the work of the Association and the development of support services for persons suffering from dystrophy and related neurological diseases.

President Stevandić said that the attitude towards the members of the society gathered by this association can always be better, and that the organizations that employ people with dystrophy are the pearls of society, and that social responsibility towards them should be greater to solve the problems of people with dystrophy more efficiently.

"In any case, we can do better, and we will try, no matter how difficult the next fiscal year is, we will solve some of those problems, and I will personally advocate for it," Stevandić told reporters before celebrating the jubilee of this association.

He added that he has been cooperating with the Association of Dystrophists for many years as a doctor.

"No state or government has ever been able to fully repay the debt when it comes to people with dystrophy, people with disabilities, and war invalids, but it cannot be said that we did not have the perception that we tackle these problems following society's capabilities," said Stevandic.
