The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska attended today in the Church of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka the memorial prayer and lightening candles for the killed Serbians in Banjska, Kosovo and Metohija.

The President of the Republic of Srpska will always be with their brothers at Kosovo and Metohija, and they will not be endangered.

He said that tonight the candles will be lit in all major Serbian cities, by which the Serbs will show their solidarity and unity and will pray in silence for the repose of the innocent victims of Serbs who were attacked in ambushes.

“It is obvious that after constantly being mistreated, more than 10 years of killing, blowing up the bus, shooting children, Albanians have made incidents which endanger peace and Serbian citizens in Kosovo”, said Stevandic to the media in Banja Luka.

He emphasized that the Serbs will not bow their heads, but want to show that they are not powerless, are not few, and are much stronger and more organized.

As he said Serbs are the only people in Europe who do not sleep in peace and who fight for their lives.

“It is human to raise our voice, to show that we are with our people, that we are ready to help if Serbia needs help and to support leadership,” pointed out Stevandic.

Memorial prayer and candles lightening for three Serbs killed in Banjska, on Sunday, 24 September, in conflict with the self-proclaimed Kosovo police, has been organized by the Cabinet of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska in cooperation with the Eparchy of Banja Luka.
