President Stevandić attended the scientific meeting "The Republic of Srpska - security, experiences-lessons, and modern security challenges"

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandic, attended today in Banja Luka the scientific and professional gathering "The Republic of Srpska - security, experiences-lessons, and modern security challenges", organized by the Organization of the Elders of the Army of the Republic Srpska.

Stevandić told the audience that the Republic of Srpska still faces challenges, and that, given the numerous attempts to take away jurisdiction, it has been deinstitutionalized in terms of security.

He added that no society can survive if it does not take care of its security, and that the Republic of Srpska fought against a large network of those who, while it was being formed, tried to stop its formation.

"The experiences that the Republic of Srpska gained then formed a kind of immunity, so that future generations would know and be ready for challenges, " said Stevandic.

Addressing the audience, President Stevandić emphasized the importance of such gatherings, which remind the kind of challenges the Republic of Srpska faced, which strengthen the national collective awareness of the protection of the Republic of Srpska.

He praised the Organization of the Elders of the Army of the Republic of Srpska as one of the most active organizations resulting from the Defensive-Patriotic War and thanked them for the activities they undertake regularly, all with the aim of preserving the culture of memory.
