President Stevandić participated in the fourteenth donor dinner "With Love to Brave Hearts"

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, took part tonight in the fourteenth donor evening "With a love for brave hearts", under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik. The campaign's goal is to collect funds to establish a register of voluntary stem cell donors.

The donor dinner, which is held in the Administrative Center of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, is attended by the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, Prime Ministers of the Republic Srpska and Serbia Radovan Višković and Ana Brnabić, ministers in the Government of the Republic of Srpska, members of the Council of the Peoples of Srpska, and colorful personalities from the political and public life of the region.

 The Institute for Transfusion Medicine of the Republic of Srpska expressed the need to establish a register of voluntary hematopoietic stem cell donors of the Republic of Srpska, i.e., establishing a laboratory for HLA tissue typing at this institute.

By establishing a laboratory at the Institute for Transfusion Medicine of the Republic of Srpska, and by establishing a register of voluntary stem cell donors, citizens of Srpska who are suffering from life-threatening diseases such as leukemia, aplastic anemia, immune deficiencies, and congenital metabolic disorders will be able to search the database of their own and the World Registry find unrelated donors matching the recipient.

 As part of the campaign, until the end of December, anyone who wants to donate one KM by calling the humanitarian number 1411, which will be active until then.
