The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandić, handed over today New Year presents to children staying at the Institute for Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Surgery “Dr Miroslav Zotović” in Banja Luka.

“I am happy because I am continuing the tradition of my predecessors who visited the Institute and presented children with gifts, thereby contributing and demonstrating empathy and respect for them”, said Stevandić to the media in Banja Luka.

Stevandić stressed that this is one of the best centers for rehabilitation, especially for children, and stated that he had been at rehabilitation in “Zotovic” as a seventh-grade pupil, after a broken arm.

Children’s physician at the Institute Gabrijela Mirković said that traditionally the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska visits children during these festive days and that this year he presented 40 gifts for children from the Republic of Srpska, staying here with their parents.

“For them, these gifts from the National Assembly, as well as gifts from other people mean a lot and contribute to getting well”, highlighted Mirković.

Goran Talić, the director of the Institute for Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Surgery “Dr. Miroslav Zotović”, also attended today's visit.
