President Stevandić received the consent of the families of members of parliament killed in the war for the installation of busts

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska dr Nenad Stevandić, after the Decision of the Collegium of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska on placing busts of the members of the First Convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska who gave their lives in the struggle for the creation of the Republic of Srpska, spoke with Ljupka Bjelošević the daughter of Milovan Bjelošević and Aleksandar Zekić son of Goran Zekić, and with their consent took steps towards the realization of this initiative.

The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik also gave support for the implementation of this initiative.

Milovan Bjelošević Beli MP of the first convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, president of the municipality of Derventa, poet and writer, was killed by a sniper shot in the back near his house (Derventa municipality) on May 21, 1992.

Goran Zekić MP of the first convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska from the municipality of Bratunac was killed on May 8, 1992, in an ambush when he was shot while driving in a car near Srebrenica.

Both were members of the Serbian Democratic Party.
