President Stevandic talked with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH and with the chief of the Consular office in Banja Luka

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandic talked today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH Damijan Sedar and with the chief of the Consular office in Banja Luka Boris Jelovsek about the actual economic and political situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as about the process of European integrations.

The interlocutors made a conclusion that there are no open problems between the Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Srpska as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina which presents an ideal position for the continuation of the cooperation between the two countries, through realization of existing projects and making the new one. The interlocutors also agreed that the status of the country’s candidate for EU accession is a unique opportunity that should be used in the actual moment, because strong economical status guarantees social security.

President Stevandić thanked the ambassador on the support and friendship that the Republic of Slovenia extends to the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for understanding and respecting the specificities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which in no way represent an obstacle to European integration
