Vice President Duratovic talked with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka, Oguz Kilic

Vice president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Mirsad Duratovic, talked today, 8 December 2022, in his office, with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka, Oguz Kilic.

At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the strengthening of cooperation, trade, and tourism between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Srpska, and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well the increasing of the cooperation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and the vice president Durakovic with the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Banja Luka.

The interlocutors stressed the importance of establishing direct airline flights between Banja Luka and Istanbul, aiming to increase trade and tourism cooperation, strengthen economic activities, and bring new Turkish investors to the country.

The vice president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey talked about questions related to the refugees and their bringing back to the Republic of Srpska. On this occasion vice president, Duratovic thanked the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish people for their unselfish help and numerous projects realized under the auspices of the Turkish agency for coordination and cooperation (TIKA).

Duratovic said that he expects the increasement in Turkish investments because the Republic of Turkey has expressed its readiness for further cooperation.
