President Stevandic attended the extended Session of the Council for Strategic Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandic, attended the session of the Council for Strategic Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, which is being held in an expanded composition, today in the "Srbija" Palace in Belgrade.

In addition to President Stevandic, the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Zeljka Cvijanovic, President of the National Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic, Prime Ministers Savo Minic and Djuro Macut, as well as ministers in the governments of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, attended the session.

The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that Serbia will give every support to the Republic of Srpska, which, as a part of BiH was under enormous pressure in the past period, as well as its president, Milorad Dodik, and his family, and that there is no easier period ahead.

"There is always someone they can and must count on! We will be with Serbia, we will do our best to preserve peace and stability so that the people of Serbia can be on their own without changing anything that was not established by the Dayton Peace Agreement," said Vucic.

He pointed out that cooperation with Serbia in all areas is important for Belgrade and that today it will be considered what are concrete measures should be done together, respecting others and not causing harm or pain to anyone.

The President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that the Republic of Srpska and Serbia are leaving behind several joint projects, and that in the coming period, it is necessary to unite all segments of society and collaborate on all issues.

"We must together design projects to be sustainable, to have a clear energy policy, secure food production and spirituality, in order to respond to the coming time," said Dodik.

He pointed out that Serbia and the Republic of Srpska have more and more friends, and that this type of cooperation is the best way to identify the most important steps for the future.

The session was preceded by a ceremony of presenting awards to deserving individuals, institutions, and organizations on the occasion of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag, and the awards were presented by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
