Service
The Service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska performs professional and other tasks for the needs of the National Assembly, its working bodies, Members of the National Assembly (MPs), MP clubs, and MP groups.
In accordance with Article 284 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of Republic of Srpska, the Service:
Participates in the preparation of meetings for the President and Vice-Presidents of the National Assembly, and the presidents of working bodies, MP clubs, and MP groups, which are organized in the National Assembly, and ensures the implementation of conclusions from those meetings, performs professional and other tasks for the needs of the President, Vice-Presidents, Secretary-General of the National Assembly, and MP clubs and MP groups, performs tasks related to directing materials that the President sends to the working bodies of the National Assembly, the President of the Republic, the Government, the Council of Peoples, and other state bodies, performs specific tasks related to establishing cooperation between the National Assembly and: the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, and the Assembly of Montenegro, receives and prepares analytical-informative and other materials when stipulated by the National Assembly's Work Program and upon the request of the Collegium, President, Vice-Presidents, and working bodies of the National Assembly, provides professional opinions to working bodies, Members of the National Assembly, and MP clubs and MP groups in the exercise of their functions in the National Assembly, participates in the preparation of the Work Program for the National Assembly and working bodies, and monitors its implementation.
The Service also, edits and publishes the National Assembly's publications, official gazettes, and magnetic recordings, organizes and ensures cooperation with representatives of public information media in the exercise of their rights and duties regarding informing about the work of the National Assembly, collects, processes, stores, and provides data and materials for use, and performs other informative-documentation tasks, performs tasks related to the employment status of Members of the National Assembly and employees in the Service of the National Assembly ,ensures the preparation and safekeeping of the originals of laws, other regulations, and general acts of the National Assembly, performs tasks related to office operations, financial and material matters, typing, technical, and other similar tasks, performs other professional, administrative, and technical tasks.
- The Rulebook on the Organization and Job Systematization regulates: the manner of managing organizational units, the of tasks and jobs, the total number of workers for managing tasks and jobs, the name and distribution of tasks and jobs within organizational units with a job description for each worker or group of workers, and the necessary conditions for performing these tasks and jobs. In the National Assembly Service, managing workers and workers with special status may be appointed. Managing workers are workers designated by the Rulebook on the Organization and Job Systematization. Workers with special status are appointed by the Secretary-General of the National Assembly after obtaining the opinion of the President of the National Assembly.
