President Stevandić Met with the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr. Nenad Stevandić, met today in Banja Luka with the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić. They discussed the current political situation in the region, as well as the continuation and improvement of parliamentary cooperation between the two institutions.

 During the meeting, it was noted that relations between the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and the Parliament of Montenegro are showing continuous progress and that cooperation is following an upward trajectory.

 President Stevandić emphasized the importance of institutional communication and the exchange of experiences.

 President Stevandić extended an invitation to President Mandić to address the members of parliament at one of the upcoming sessions of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.

 President Mandić expressed readiness for further deepening of parliamentary cooperation.

The interlocutors concluded that it would be highly beneficial for the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska to participate as an observer in the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM). This would represent an additional step toward strengthening inter-parliamentary ties and regional cooperation.
