Čubrilović: 16th Regular Session of the National Assembly on 7 February

The Collegium of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska today determined proposed agenda and date of holding the 16th Regular Session, which will be on Tuesday, February 7, starting at 10 am, said after the Session of the Collegium, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Čubrilović.

"The Assembly will be held on 7, 8 and 9 February, a continuation is planned for 14, 15 and 16 February. If not finished, the second continuation will be on 21 February ", said Čubrilović.

 Draft  Code of Conduct of MPs was also disscused at the Collegium and it was agreed that caucuses and delegates in the next ten days in writing form need to inform the Legislative Committee of the National Assembly on the proposal for a working version of the text of the Code.

"We hope that this work will be completed before preparations for the 17th Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska. We expect the draft Code to be on the agenda of the March session," said Čubrilović.

According to Article 115 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly sessions may be convened by the President of Parliament on its own initiative, and President of the National Assembly is obliged to convene the session at the request of one third of deputies, the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister. The proposer is requested to deliver the material for the session, considering the proposed issue.
In Article 116 of the Rules of Procedure stipulates that in the draft agenda of the National Assembly session may include only those acts proposals which were prepared in accordance with the Constitution, the law and these Rules.
