The Law on Support for Unemployed Parents of Four or More Children in the Republic of Srpska was adopted and also the amendments to the three Laws required for its implementation

Tonight, at the Fifth Special Session, the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska unanimously adopted the Law on Support for Unemployed Parents of Four or More Children in the Republic of Srpska, as well as amendments to several laws that enable the realization of the rights of this category of population, namely: the Law on Amendments to the Law on Contributions, the Law on amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Mandatory Health Insurance, all under urgent procedure.

The implementation of the Law on support for unemployed parents of four or more children in Srpska is scheduled for January 1, and it establishes the right to financial compensation for one of the unemployed parents of four or more children, one of whom is a minor, in the monthly amount of 750 KM net. The novelty of this legal solution is the payment of contributions for health and pension-disability insurance, which is a significant benefit and extension of rights for an unemployed parent of four or more children.
