President Stevandić attended the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance for those killed in NATO aggression in Sombor

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Dr Nenad Stevandić attended the state ceremony marking the Day of Remembrance for the victims of NATO aggression in 1999 in Sombor tonight.

The state marking ceremony was attended by the presidents of Serbia and Republic of Srpska, Aleksandar Vucic and Milorad Dodik, the Serbian patriarch Porfirije, the presidents of the governments of Serbia and Republic of Srpska, Ana Brnabic and Radovan Viskovic, the president of the parliaments of Serbia Vladimir Orlic as well as ministers in the governments of Serbia and Srpska.

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije served a memorial service for the victims of NATO aggression, and afterwards he said that this aggression was "the most disproportionate conflict since the beginning of the world."

Today marks 24 years since the beginning of NATO's aggression against FR Yugoslavia, in which, during 78 days of bombing, two and a half thousand people were killed, including at least 79 children.
