President Stevandić held a meeting with the Head of the European Union Delegation and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina
The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandić, spoke today in Banja Luka, in two separate meetings, with the head of the European Union delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, ambassador Johann Sattler, and with the head of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Brian Aggeler.
The meetings discussed the current political situation in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing the importance of mutual dialogue and cooperation in order to develop peace and stability in the entire region.
President Stevandić emphasized the commitment of the Republic of Srpska to building positive relations with international partners and expressed readiness for a constructive dialogue in solving issues of common interest. On that occasion, President Stevandić said that the Republic of Srpska will not give up its property and institutions that make decisions independently.
The special focus of the discussion was the role of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska in the political process and its contribution to the strengthening of democratic principles. At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on possible improvements in the work and cooperation of domestic and international institutions, as well as on key issues concerning the citizens of the Republic of Srpska.
