President Stevandic with the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia: Relationship between Srpska and Serbia never better

The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Dr Nenad Stevandic, talked today with the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia, in Banja Luka, Milos Vujic, about the cooperation of Srpska and Serbia, expressing the gratitude of the Republic of Srpska concerning every kind of support and help which the authorities of Serbia have been giving to the citizens of the Republic of Srpska during the past years.

Consul General passed President Stevandic the congratulatory message of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Vladimir Orlic, due to the election as president of the parliament.

“Due to your election to the position of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes for successful work. I am convinced that you will lead your citizens along the way of success and further prosperity. I was very honored by my presence at the Constitutional Session of the National Assembly in Banja Luka and your election for president. I assure you that from the position of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia I will do my best on further strengthening of the relationships between the Serbian people in the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Serbia” says the congratulations message of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

President Steavndic expressed hope that the relations between the two parliaments in the future will be more intense, and that very soon a joint session of the Commission for the cooperation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, will be held, in relation to the Memorandum signed in September 2018.

He expressed gratitude for the big support of Serbia for the investments in the Republic of Srpska, in the fields of road infrastructure and joint projects in accordance with the Agreement on Special and parallel relationships.  

“Serbia is the most important factor of stability and peace in the Balkans, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic proves it daily. When it is to relationships between the Republic of Serbia and Srpska, these have never been better, and I ask you to transmit a message of our great gratitude for this” said Stevandic.
